This quick tip will make you, and your mind, very happy.
Keep one list and put all things on it! I have spoken to groups about time management and planning and when I ask about their list, I often hear they don’t just have one.
Why give your mind any more work to do?
When you have more than one list and in more than one place {the infamous sticky notes everywhere} you are sending signals to your brain that you can’t escape all that needs to be done because you are reminded of tasks at every turn. It’s harder to complete tasks because you can’t see in one place all that needs to be done. You’re telling your brain you have a lot to do (which isn’t necessarily true) and you can get overwhelmed more easily.
Be kind to your mind! One list + one place = happy mind…once and for all.
